Important Info about Our Competition

Certificate of Insurance must be handed in on or before the competition date.

Individual waivers must be handed in on or before the competition date. We are requiring the appropriate documents that certify music is from a Preferred Provider who will obey the Copyright Laws. Coaches must provide proof of licensing or proof of purchase from preferred provider.

INSURANCE FORMS: All teams MUST hand in a copy of their team and individual insurance forms BEFORE they compete

Please name Secaucus High School as “Additionally Insured” on your team insurance form. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS!

 

SPORTSMANSHIP: Any participant or spectator that illustrates unsportsmanlike conduct will be escorted off school grounds and WILL NOT be permitted back in.

SECURITY: Security will be visible inside the school as well as outside. Rooms will be provided for team preparation and will be assigned to your team upon arrival. Only coaches and team members are to be in these rooms! Please do not leave valuables in these rooms. We are not responsible for lost or stolen articles.

Entry Fees: NON-REFUNDABLE!

  • Early Registration fee: $140 (due by Nov 22nd) 

  • Registration fee: $150 (after Nov 22nd) 

  • Late Registration fee: $170  (after Jan 3rd) 

  • $135 each additional team, category, or division

AWARDS: Awards will be determined by the number of teams registered in each category.

 

OVERALL GRAND CHAMPION: The team with the highest number of points in each session will be awarded grand champion.

 

JUDGES: Professional judges will be used. We will be having panel judging!

 

RULES: High School teams will follow National Federation Rules/ Recreation Teams will follow NFHS or USASF (your choice). Any infraction will be deducted from final total score.

 

FLOOR: A 54’ x 42’ spring floor will be used. There will be a designated warm up area for stretching, tumbling, and mat time.  Spring panels will be available in the warm up area for tumbling warm ups. There will be no open tumbling on the main floor.

​

MUSIC: All music must be on a good quality CD. Please bring back up copies! An iPod or iPhone jack will be available! We are requiring the appropriate documents that certify music is from a Preferred Provider who will obey the Copyright Laws. Coaches must agree to terms when registering.
